Chocolate Chip Cookies

Don't bother cooking them - just eat the dough!


75 g Butter
75 g Caster Sugar
100 g Chocolate Chips
50 g Chopped Walnuts (optional)
1 Egg
175 g Self Raising Flour
75 g Soft Brown Sugar
Vanilla Flavouring


  1. Cream together the butter, sugars, and a few drops of vanilla flavouring until pale and fluffy, then gradually beat in the egg.
  2. Sift the flour and salt together and fold in with the nuts and chocolate chips
  3. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture on to two greased baking sheets and bake in the oven at 180 degrees, mark 4 for 12-15 mins.
  4. Cool on the baking sheets for a minute and then transfer to a wire rack


Add 50g of cocoa powder to the flour for double choc chip cookies. Mmm!
